Founded by brothers Eric and Jacob Wazana, Yoga Jeans have become one of the most popular denim choices for women. After studying women's natural curves and body movements, the Wazana brothers deconstructed traditional denim patterns and fabrics and remade them as a new pair of jeans so comfortable and flexible that a woman could actually practice yoga in them. That is how Yoga Jeans was born.
Yoga Jeans offers the most sustainable and eco-friendly denim products available. Over 90% of the fabric is used in the finished product, and the remainder is recycled. They use organic cotton whenever possible, and their washing formulas have a minimum liquid ratio, typically their water consumption is 50% less than industry standards. Their washing formulas are made of natural enzymes and biodegradable wash agents instead of toxic chemicals that are harmful to the environment, and because all Yoga Jeans styles are locally made, their carbon footprint is minimal. Their factory uses energy efficient machinery and lighting. Each garment is individually handcrafted to ensure that quality and environmentally friendly production processes standards are upheld.
